JOB PURPOSE

 

AS A BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR, YOUR PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY IS TO DRIVE GROWTH AND REVENUE FOR THE COMPANY BY IDENTIFYING NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, FOSTERING CLIENT RELATIONSHIPS, AND DEVELOPING STRATEGIES TO EXPAND MARKET PRESENCE. THIS ROLE REQUIRES A COMBINATION OF STRATEGIC THINKING, SALES ACUMEN, AND RELATIONSHIP-BUILDING SKILLS TO ACHIEVE BUSINESS OBJECTIVES.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

·         PRODUCE QUOTATIONS FOR CUSTOMERS UPON CUSTOMER REQUEST

·         BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH EXISTING CLIENTS TO UNDERSTAND THEIR NEEDS AND IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR UPSELLING OR CROSS SELLING.

·         ACT AS A TRUSTED ADVISOR TO CLIENTS, PROVIDING INSIGHTS AND SOLUTIONS THAT ALIGN WITH THEIR BUSINESS GOALS.

 

2.    MARKET ANALYSIS:

·         CONDUCT THOROUGH RESEARCH TO IDENTIFY POTENTIAL CLIENTS, INDUSTRY TRENDS, AND COMPETITIVE LANDSCAPES.

·         ANALYZE DATA AND MARKET INTELLIGENCE TO MAKE INFORMED RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES.

·         PRODUCING QUOTATIONS TO CUSTOMERS UPON CUSTOMER REQUEST.

 

3.    NEW BUSINESS IDENTIFICATION:

·         IDENTIFY AND PROSPECT NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH LEAD GENERATION, NETWORKING, AND COLLABORATION WITH MARKETING TEAMS.

·         DEVELOP A DEEP UNDERSTANDING OF THE TARGET MARKET AND CREATE TAILORED PITCHES TO ATTRACT NEW CLIENTS.


4.    SALES AND NEGOTIATION:

·         LEAD THE SALES PROCESS FROM INITIAL CONTACT TO CONTRACT NEGOTIATION AND CLOSURE.

·         COLLABORATE WITH SALES TEAMS TO DEVELOP EFFECTIVE SALES STRATEGIES AND PRESENTATIONS.

·         NEGOTIATE TERMS AND AGREEMENTS WITH CLIENTS, ENSURING MUTUALLY BENEFICIAL OUTCOMES.


QUALIFICATIONS

·         2 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD.

·         PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, SALES, OR A RELATED ROLE.

·         STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF MARKET DYNAMICS AND INDUSTRY TRENDS.

·         EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION, PRESENTATION, AND NEGOTIATION SKILLS.

·         STRATEGIC THINKING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITIES.

·         ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND AS PART OF A TEAM.

·         RESULTS-DRIVEN WITH A FOCUS ON ACHIEVING AND EXCEEDING TARGETS.
